Jetpack CDN
-
Hello Team,
Jetpack CDN for images is not working for some locations because it is showing broken images. Please see the attached image for more information. I am using VPN to test this because some users are reporting about an image is not loading.

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? We’ll also need an example of at least one image URL that is not loading.
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for your response.
The image not loading for the UAE location
but the same image is loading for the Brazil location. so that problem happens for different locations and users are reporting that issue. Get 403 error.

@techblog14 We need the actual URLs of the website and one of the images so that we can look into this. Unfortunately, we cannot check the necessary things with the images from a screenshot.
If you do not want to post those URLs publicly on this forum, you can contact us privately via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Use for VPN Brazil (working) and United Arab Emirates (Not working)

hope this bug will be fixe as soon as possible.Hey @techblog14,
Thanks for sharing the URL above. Upon checking it, at a first sight it appeared that the image that’s served by our CDN isn’t in the Media Gallery; however, it seems like it is indeed in your Media Gallery at the following URL: https://www.oispice.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Nokia-C110.jpg
Is it possible that our CDN is clashing with Cloudflare’s? To check that, can you turn off Cloudflare’s CDN and see if the problem still occurs?
In one location it works and in another location, it is not, can you check and fix this issue because this seems like a bug?
the above url is completely working fine for me.-

Hi @techblog14
Can you ask your hosting provider to allow our IP addresses listed here:
You may also need to do this in CloudFlare.
Hello @techblog14
Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
Hello, this issue is not fixed yet because users are still seeing broken images for different locations. Regarding adding IP address, our client does not allow this. I also saw some other threads about the CDN issue here. Other jetpack users are also facing the same problem.
Hi there. Your site appears to have some image hotlinking protection in place via Cloudflare, which may cause image access issues. I tried to access the image mentioned above (from the UK) and got an access denied error from Cloudflare.
Please try deactivating Cloudflare’s hotlink protection temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
No nothing, issue is still present. please check from your end.
Hi there. From our end it looks like hotlink protection is still in place:
Can you double check on that?
I just tested it and enabled it again on the client site. When I test it, it doesn’t show me an image
Hi @techblog14 –
I tested the post:
https://www.oispice.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-s9-ultra-specifications-pros-and-cons/
When accessing via a VPN in the UAE location, the image doesn’t show up:
However, I also get the same result from a Brazilian IP.
Additionally, I see that you are still using Cloudflare. The next step here would be to add our IPs to Cloudflare’s allow list and see if that fixes the issue:
Additionally, I’d recommend checking in with your web host again as they may be blocking requests from certain countries. Allow listing our IPs is the way around this.
Let us know what you find out.
