# Jetpack magic?

 * Hi I am a webdesigner and am setting up a self hosted word press site for a client
   with a child theme of the twenty eleven theme. I installed the jetpack plug in,
   clicked the connect to word press.com. Entered clients email and got a message
   that there was already a wordpress.com account, with that email. Wrote to client
   and confirmed that she has never set up a wordpress.com account but got her to
   do the forgotten password link. She then sent reply to me.
 * Strange thing is that the username was my name. Maybe I am going mad but to my
   knowledge I didn’t set up a wordpress.com account with my clients email. I do
   have a wordpress.com account with my email.
 * Now I have this message:
 * Howdy xxxxxxxxxxxx, Jetpack wants to connect [http://www.xxxxxxxx.org.au](http://www.xxxxxxxx.org.au)
   to WordPress.com.
 * To connect using an account other than xxxxxxxxxxx please sign out first.
 * Not sure what to do here. Any advice greatly appreciated

 * My client said, “I am trying really hard to remain dialect neutral and this is
   way too Southern/Texan for our global clients.”
 * I guess I’ll find another plug-in for subscriptions!
