jetpack post by email problem

    Hello
    I am trying to give permission to a user to post directly to a single blog page from the mobile phone.

    the post arrives into the “all posts” section, however it does not get published online. I want the new post to appear at the top of a blog page.

    Can you help please ?

    Do you mean that the post is added to your site, but with a draft status?

    If so, could you ask the user to specify the status in their email by adding [status publish] to the bottom of their email, as explained here:

    thank you for responding.

    I tried a number of short codes, and didn’t find the solution. I confess I did not try [status publish].

    however I have found a solution. eventually….. in Writing Settings i changed the Default Post Category to the page I wanted to automatically post. …. this works for now, i’m not sure what i will do when i want to automatically post to different pages. perhaps then your solution will come in handy.
