 * The full error reads as follows:
 * > Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This
   > usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Couldn’t
   > resolve host ‘jetpack.wordpress.com’
 * I am the host, so I can check with the my host. But what would I ask the host?
   I don’t have a firewall running (although, I’d have to check to be certain).
   Could this be a DNS problem?
 * I found one solution involving I’ve not tested recommending adding certificates,
   but I’m wary of trusting a lot sites.
    [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-jetpack-by-wordpresscom-jetpack-error-setting-certificate-verify-locations](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-jetpack-by-wordpresscom-jetpack-error-setting-certificate-verify-locations)
 * Has anyone developed a trouble-shooting routine for this problem?
