# Jetpack Subscriptions – Pre-Dated Content

 * I’m in the process of adding some older content to my site. I’ve got people that
   are subscribed to get updates via the Jetpack Subscriptions module.
 * My question is… If I’m adding posts that are pre-dated, will the folks that are
   subscribed be notified? I don’t particularly want to inundate them with notifications.
 * Example: I add a blog post dated October 2006. Will the people that are subscribed
   be notified?
