Jetpack won’t load

    Jetpack won’t load. I clicked the Stats which only showed a question mark. I tried other Jetpack tools and neither of them load. I deactivated and reinstalled all Jetpack plugins, but I now can’t even select the Basic version again as it keeps on loading without activating.
    Please advise.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I took a look and found that XML-RPC is disabled on your site: https://www.verberne.com/wp/xmlrpc.php.

    Jetpack needs XML-RPC to work properly.

    The most common cause is a security plugin (like Wordfence, iThemes Security, etc.) that has an option to disable XML-RPC. Check your security plugin settings and make sure XML-RPC is allowed or exclusively permitted for Jetpack IPs: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/ .

    It could also be blocked via your .htaccess file or by your hosting provider.

    You’ll know it’s fixed when visiting https://www.verberne.com/wp/xmlrpc.php shows “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only” instead of the current error. After that, reconnect Jetpack and you should be all set.

    @tamirat22, thank you so much for your advice.
    It worked! Somehow the connection got corrupted or lost. I followed your instructions and although I got an unknown error using the debug tool, this somehow triggered something that enabled me to reconnect again, which wasn’t possible earlier.
