# jQuery Error

 * Hello,
 * I am not really sure what is causing this so any help would be much appreciated.
 * When I inspect my website using Chrome, it is saying:
 * 1. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (OK)
    jscripts.
   php:4 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined 2. Uncaught ReferenceError:
   jQuery is not defined optionwarriors.org/:344 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).ready(…)
   is not a function 3. Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).ready(…) is not a function
   [https://fonts.googleapis.com/css](https://fonts.googleapis.com/css) Failed to
   load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (OK) 4. Failed to load
   resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (OK)

 * It sounds like jQuery is not being loaded. Try deactivating all your plugins 
   and using a bundled theme like Twenty Fourteen/Fifteen to see if those errors
   disappear.

 * I did what you suggested and was able to trace 2/4 of the problems to a plugin(
   I have been able to fix it).
 * Not sure what is causing this: Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).ready(…) is not 
   a function (index):619
 * The error doesn’t show on Twenty Fourteen so not sure what is wrong with the 
   theme.

 * Try reaching out to the theme’s author. They may be able to help you out as they
   know the codebase better. 🙂
