jquery error on click

hey, good job with this plugin. i have a problem though.
when clicking on the mail or phone I just get the spinner and nothing happens.
the console output is as follows:

jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 Failed to load mailto:[email protected]: Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: http, data, chrome, chrome-extension, https.

plugin version is 6.1
