# jQuery Migrate warning

 * This warning shows up after updating to WP 5.5 and adding the jQuery Migrate 
   Helper plugin:
 * “boxzilla/assets/js/admin-script.min.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated”
 * Hope it’s an easy fix. Love this plugin!

 * Where exactly did you see that warning? I like to show it to Danny and convince
   him not to use jQuery at all 🙂
 * In the meantime, I tested Boxzilla on Wp 5.5 and found no issues, so despite 
   the warning I think it’s save to do the update.

 * [@lapzor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lapzor/) Yeah, it still looks like
   it works fine. I installed Enable jQuery Migrate Helper to deal with another 
   issue that came with 5.5, and it flags up deprectaed jQuery when you go to a 
   plugin’s settings screen.
