 * Hi,
 * I just installed a newer version of JQuery. The Brasserie Template crashes and
   does not display the featured boxes any more.
 * I can reproduce the error. I just installed a plain new Version of WordPress
   and the Brasserie Template. Everything works fine until I use another JQuery
   version.
 * I could not figure out how to solve the problem.
 * Thanks and best regards
    Nico

 * Which version of jQuery did you add? How did you install the new version of jQuery?
   Can you post a link to your site?

 * I included version 2.1.3 directly in the header.php (I know that the “nice” approach
   is the function.php – just lazyness).
    For reproducing I installed the plugin“
   jQuery Updater”.
 * When the plugin is active the feature section does not animate and “display:”
   stays “none”.
    After deactivating everything works fine again.

   (
   I would even provide login info (via mail). But not post it here.)
 * Thanks and best regards

 * According to this older discussion ([https://github.com/zuk/jquery.inview/issues/11](https://github.com/zuk/jquery.inview/issues/11)),
   the specific jQuery plugin that’s being used is known not to work with jQuery
   version 2, and the suggestion offered by tomaszrondio didn’t work for me. Unfortunately,
   I’m not knowledgeable enough about jQuery to offer any other advice. You might
   wish to find someone who’s more knowledgeable about jQuery to see if they have
   any suggestions.
