# JSON API Error when adding contact to list

 * We’re having an issue when trying to add a contact to a list when they already
   belong on another list.
 * Scenario one) The user filling out the form is completely new to our service 
   and we have no contact information for them at all. When they fill out the Constant
   Contact form on our website, their information is entered properly in Constant
   Contact and they are properly added to the list.
 * Scenario two) The user is already apart of a list in our Constant Contact account
   but is registering for an event that would add them to a second list in Constant
   Contact. This scenario fails with the following error message:
 *     ```

 * We are checking on some things and will try to be back to you soon. We are able
   to recreate and get similar errors as shown above, so we do have a lead on things
   that will hopefully help resolve this.

 * We have identified the issue related this and are tentatively planning to release
   hopeful fix in a 1.4.5 release.
 * The issue relates to the submitting user being an existing content and the API
   not being able to match contact user note unique ID values.
