# JSON ERROR

 * Unable to save the page on a fresh install with default 2022 theme, no extra 
   plugins. Get a warning popup banner with the message:
 * Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

   my email promptly, I shared more details about the error, and they are investigating.

 * Hi,
 * after a careful investigation it emerged that there wasn’t any issue caused by
   the plugin itself.
 * The error message was caused by the user’s host security rules in the ModSecurity
   tool.
    By whitelisting the rules that were triggering the exceptions the problem
   ceased to be.
 * In addition to this, it is also possible to work on the plugin after disabling
   ModSecurity from Cpanel and turn it back on once you are done.
