    Hi,
    I have installed your plugin and I add a shortcode ([better_recent_comments number=”12″ format=”{author} – {post}<br/>{comment} {date}” date_format=”d F Y H:i”]) in home page, but I see just a review. The total reviews are 30. Why? Thanks.

    Hi Sara,

    Thanks for trying our plugin. Do you have a link to the site you’re working on? The number="12" in your shortcode should mean that 12 comments are displayed on the homepage.

    Can you check that the comments are ‘approved’ in the WordPress dashboard?

    Hi,
    I checked and I have 33 comments “approved”, but If I filter “type of comment” on comments, I see 1 comment. Instead if I filter “type of comment” on ping, I see 0 comments. Why? Sorry but it’s my first job with reviews. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure. It could be that you’re using a Reviews plugin which is adding them as comments in the Comments section, but they are using a different comment “type”. That would explain why they don’t appear when you filter by type of comment. Our plugin displays comments that are of type ‘comment’ (i.e. standard blog post comments), so you might need to look for an alternative solution that can display the reviews.
