    Hi,

I just intstalled the plugin and the url in general settings shows http://www.breaie.com
I”m set in google analytics for https://www.breaie.com
That would not come over into the plugin. I’m not sure how to fix that. I had ssl prior to this plugin. I’m not able to locate any notes related to my issue.

    Can you assist?

    Thanks,
    Brenda

  • Hi,

The plugin retrieves whatever is set in your Google Analytics account. So either your Property settings or View settings aren’t correct.

To fix it go to analytics.google.com > Admin. Property Settings and switch the protocol to HTTPS, View settings and switch the protocol to HTTPS. Afterwards, clear the plugin authorization and reauthorize to force a refresh.

I have already stated that was done in the beginning before I loaded the plugin. Everything was set in google account as HTTPS before the plugin was installed.

I’m not sure what to do.

    Thanks

I doubt, as I said, all View details are retrieved from your Google Analytics account. The plugin doesn’t set the protocols on its own, it simply displays the settings from your Google Analytics account.

    Hi Alin,
I tried what you suggested and on the google side for property and view settings both have https: for the security. I tried anyway to clear the plugin and reauthorize a fresh start. No go. Still shows http: only in your app.

I don’t know what else to do, so I’m going to uninstall the app and try again. See if it straightens out. I’ll do that in the morning and see how that goes. Unless you have any suggestions by the time I check sometime tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Hi Alin,

I uninstalled the app and tried again. I had the same issues. I uninstalled the 2nd time, cleared cache, and cleared everything I could. This time, I had success. I have https:// showing in my general settings.

I can’t say what was different on this 3rd time that made it work. I followed your video exactly as before.

I’m just excited I got the plugin to work for me.

    Thank you,

    Brenda
