    Hi!

I’m using Karuna theme, and composing my page layouts with Visual Composer.
I would like to have a page showing a grid of my portfolio images, I am using jetpack-portfolio.
I created a post grid with visual composer, but the page layout doesn’t show it :
    http://blaue-lab.com/portfolio

Do you know if there is any incompatibility between ‘post grid’ from visual composer and the page layout of Karuna Theme ?

Thank you so much for your advice!

  • @ellenparis – This page is the automatically generated portfolio archive:

    http://blaue-lab.com/portfolio

That page is automatically created by the Jetpack plugin portfolio custom post type.

The layout here can be customized with custom CSS – you don’t really need another plugin.

If you want to create your own layout using Visual Composer, create a new page and give it a different slug – something other than “portfolio.” For example “my-portfolio” would be fine.

Keep in mind that if you’re using the portfolio shortcode on your new page, your HTML will be output by the Jetpack plugin itself. Customization can then be made with custom CSS.

Let me know how it goes, it’s a little tricky to explain. 🙂

Thank you so much Kathryn !

I managed to show the grid changing the page slug to ‘my-portfolio’ 🙂
I do not know much about custom CSS .. so by the moment, I prefer creating a new page and using Visual Composer.

    Your advice was precious !
