# Keep getting error

 * Every time I activate the plug-in I keep getting this path error… please assist.

 * Can you please reinstall the plugin by uploading the plugin files via FTP? You
   need to overwrite the existing plugin files. Once done, try activating again 
   and let us know the result.

   an active issue report open with our developers here to address the ‘MysqlError:
   Duplicate entry ‘X’ for key ‘object_id’ error that you are receiving here: [https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8650](https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8650)
 * Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide an ETA as to when this bug
   will be resolved. Currently the issue is in a queue and we can’t say how much
   time will be required before our developers can investigate the issue. Another
   user did post a workaround that may correct the error here:
