• Unfortunatelly, as Polylang seems to conflict with my theme and causes problems for two other plugins, i have to chance it. I have about 130-140 translation pages that I created using Polylang. How can i keep these or transfer as translations to another plugin, say xili-language?

or is there a way to solve this conflict???

    Hi!

I am not aware of any tool to migrate from Polylang to another multilingual plugin.

two of my other plugins do not show up when Polylang is on in the English version of the site:http://kalemagency.com/?lang=en. But they do when it is deactivated…. btw, these plugins work on the Turkish version of the site:http://kalemagency.com/?page_id=2

they are ditty news tickers and content views plugins…

What do these plugins? Could you make pictures of what is correct in one language and incorrect in the other?

At least I noticed that your home page in English is not the translation of your home page in Turkish. You must link them together.

I will link them asap. This is the fine page:http://kalemagency.com/?page_id=2. there are two plugins which show/advertise some of the pages shortly… they are ‘featured post’ kind of plugins….

here they do not work: http://kalemagency.com/?lang=en

plus whatever i write in this page it is not visiable on frontend while the content is inside the page on the dashboard….

As I wrote above, link your two pages together. Edit one of them and start typing the title of the other in the translation input field in the languages metabox (this is an auto suggest input field, select the right page), then save your page.

I deleted the page called home. Then i open the page called anasayfa and translated it (by clicking on the plus on the right) which i named home. i also added this new page to english menu. now i can edit page and put content in it but stull the other plugin (of which shortcode is in the page) does not work: http://kalemagency.com/?page_id=2690

the other plugin (of which shortcode is in the page) does not work

So at least one issue is solved. Is your plugin freely available?

yes, at least it was solved thanks to you…..
regarding the other pluging, i m not sure. because it works on turkish homepage:http://kalemagency.com/?page_id=2
when i deactivate polylang it works on english homepage as well…i will keep it deactivated for 30 mins for u to see:http://kalemagency.com/?page_id=2690

the plugin is content views and i use fre version of it…

I made a (very) quick test. Created two views, one with English posts, the other with French posts. Putted the first shortcode in an English page, the second in a French page. Everything works as expected.
