# Keeping posts off posts page

 * Hiya,
 * I have a static front page and in settings/reading i have the posts page set 
   to my ‘news’ page.
 * I would like to keep certain posts off this page but I can’t find a way/plugin
   that can do this. I have tried ‘post on page’ and a few others.

 * Thanks for the response. I have played with this but clicking on hide from home
   page doesn’t work because I don’t have a home page with posts (???). The hide
   from category works but doesn’t help me in this situation.
