# Keyring Parse Error

 * I’ve installed Eventbrite API but when I try to activate Keyring I get an error:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/sites/n/nectar-of-life.
   co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/keyring/keyring.php on line 50
 * Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

   problem would be.

   you are aware of?

 * SOLVED
    My hosting provider upgraded the PHP from v5.2 to 5.4 and it’s activated
   properly now. Thought I’d post here in case anyone else ever experiences this
   issue 🙂
