    ive always used this and added all the relevant keywords i could

    i just read on moz.com in a reply to someones question, from someone at moz, that it was useless, this was in 2013

    have i been just wasting my time

    Other than Baidu and Yandex, most major search engines use keywords rarely or not at all, which is why the functionality is disabled by default.
