 * Hi Maxwell
 * Just wanting to clarify content formatting for the knowledge base. I added some
   content from webpages via the Direct URL option (these particular products didnt
   import very well via the WordPress Content option which appeared to only bring
   in the page title, maybe a theme issue). Having done that though, I want to now
   add in some common question and answer type data, basically a faq sheet, which
   doesn’t really relate to a specific page on the site. For example questions like“
   Can I book for multiple people” and “Do you take group bookings” might both result
   in the same general response of ” Sure, we offer multi place bookings for 5 or
   more people”. What is the recommended method and format for adding such data,
   for example should I use direct content method and if so what format does it
   handle, csv, plain text, html? If I ignore the Enter Source URL field is it a
   problem?
 * I looked in the documentation but couldn’t realy find any clarity on this.
 * Liking the system so far, I’m sure it will be great once it’s fully configured
   and has the right data to feed on.
 * Thanks a lot.
 * Andy

 * Hi Andy,
 * There are a few different approaches. The recommended way I would try first is
   direct content and include your domain as a source URL. Since source URLs do
   not allow duplicates (they overwrite each other), you can use this link generator
   here: [https://mxchat.ai/links/](https://mxchat.ai/links/)
 * I do this on my website. I write little pieces of content and then generate a
   unique URL to submit with the source URL and then add an instruction to my ai
   behaviors that says “do not cite the main landing page of mxchat.ai”. This prevents
   it hyperlinking the generated source URL.
 * This is the recommended way becusse many will have ai instructions that say “
   only answer with information paired with a source url from [domain]” so if you
   have that and submit it with no source url it may not reference it.
 * if you dont have a lot of content you want to do this with can you submit it
   all on one direct content with no source url as well. Currently multiple entries
   without a source url will not work as they overwrite each other. Soon this will
   be fixed so you can submit multiple entries with no source if you’d like.
 * Thanks,
 * Maxwell
