landingpage redirect url is html-encoded, breaking &parameter

i set my landing page to the custom url
https://bostoncamerata.org/?redirect_to=latest&ignore_sticky_posts=0
which is correctly output in the header log link as entered.

unfortunately, when https://bostoncamerata.org/ is entered directly into the browser, wptouch apparently outputs
https://bostoncamerata.org/?redirect_to=latest\&\amp;ignore_sticky_posts=0
(the backslashes added to prevent munging of the munge;-)
causing the redirect2url to ignore the ignore_sticky_posts parameter, giving me the latest post, ignoring sticky_posts:-\

can this be fixed? or will i have to redirect to a page that then redirects to the redirection?-p
