 * Hi there Nate,
 * I have added some WPML pages to the site I am working on and set up the language
   switcher which is all working ok and serves the booking form in the appropriate
   language.
    However when completed and submitted the response page is always the
   English version and the emails sent are the same despite there being translations
   available for the appropriate language. Any suggestions on what I am missing
   here. Cheers
 * Stuart

 * Hi Stuart,
 * Hmm, I’m not too good with WPML so it’s hard for me to trouble-shoot your issue.
   I know that on the WPML testing site that they set up to help me work through
   some issues, I can go to WPML > String Translation, select the strings within
   the context of “restaurant-reservations”, and then I’m able to translate all
   of the settings for the plugin there.
 * However, when I set up my own local WPML testing environment, my plugin doesn’t
   appear under the “context” option in WPML > String Translation. I’m not sure
   how to get them to appear. WPML doesn’t seem to recognize any plugins there,
   so it must just be a setting or something somewhere.
 * Perhaps they appear there for you, or you know where to go to set them up?

 * Hi Nate,
 * Thanks for that you put me onto the right track.
    The reason you do not see the
   string translator is because it is another add on for WPML once its added to
   the site you can run the string translator and get things updated to work. I
   have things running now. Let me know if you want a copy of the plug in, I can
   send it across to you. You do not get support obviously without the paid subscription
   but you can get your local set up running.

 * Hi Stuart,
 * Thanks, I’m glad to hear it’s working for you now. The WPML team has given me
   a copy to work with, I must just be missing one of the extensions. Can you tell
   me the name so I can follow it up?

 * Ahh that’s the one. Now I see it. Odd, I thought I had this activated before
   but I must have just been having a moment. Thanks for passing on the name.
 * If you get a chance, I always appreciate reviews for the plugin [here](https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/restaurant-reservations).

 * Hi Nate,
    No worries adding a review (all done) great job with this. Just for
   info, I am doing some Spanish translation of the plug-in which I will get back
   to you once I have had the grammar checked by a native speaker may take a month
   or so. I came across this in the English if you want to correct in the next update.
   Great call to use loco translate by the way, great translation plug-in. “Sorry,
   bookings must be made more than %s mings in advance.” I assume you mean mins???
   Cheers Stuart

 * That’d be great Stuart. Send it to themeofthecrop AT gmail DOT com. Or if you’re
   comfortable with GitHub, send it directly to [the repo](https://github.com/NateWr/restaurant-reservations).
 * That typo was fixed in 1.4, so make sure you’re using the latest version of the
   plugin. The .pot file should have the corrected text, though several outdated.
   po files still show the old typo.
 * It’s probably quite different, but if it helps there’s a [Chilean Spanish translation](https://github.com/NateWr/restaurant-reservations/blob/master/languages/restaurant-reservations-es_CL.po)
   that might give you or your translator a head start.

 * Curious, I have 1.4.5 running.
    I will change it manually to update it and I
   will upload the files to GitHub once they are done. Thanks again for the help,
   have a good week.

 * I’m not sure, but it may be possible that you have an out-dated copy of a .po
   or .pot file somewhere, perhaps in /wordpress/languages or /wp-content/languages?
   I think sometimes files will be generated or read from there…
