# Language Setting does not work

 * Although I globally selected “German” as the site’s language, Pie Register Forms
   still use the English setting instead.
 * Do I have to change other settings within Pie Register for it to route to the
   de_DE .po file?

 * If you are asking about the form labels then they are editable and you can change
   it in german language from **Manage Forms > Edit form**.
 * Also, german language files (.po/.mo) are available in the Pie Register plugin
   for text saved as strings in a plugin like messages, configuration settings labels,
   etc.
 * You can also use the Loco Translate plugin for text translation of the plugin.

 * Thanks so much for your quick reply. I had changed the strings in the .po file
   and updated it to pie-register’s language folder, but it does not seem to take
   and still shows the English strings like “Register | Lost your password?” etc.
 * What am I missing?

 * Any help with the .po file would be greatly appreciated. I uploaded the .po to
   my website too, so you can see it.
