 * Hello, I noticed that in the plugin’s directory, there is a large folder (more
   than 125mb) in the path “wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/dist/Lite/assets”
   and especially “wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/dist/Lite/assets/js”.
 * Why are these files being created?
 * Can I remove them safely? (via FTP or even better if there is any clear option
   in the plugin’s settings)
 * Thanks

 * Hey [@meetsos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/meetsos/),
 * You can’t delete those files as those are the scripts that generate our UI. That
   being said, they definitely shouldn’t be that big. The unzipped plugin should
   only be about 17 MB big.
 * Can you check the individual files to see which one(s) are so big and report
   back so that we can look into this further?

 * [@meetsos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/meetsos/) it looks like the old
   files aren’t being removed when you update the plugin. I’m not sure why that
   is happening. Are you just updating the plugin through the Plugins menu?
 * In any case, I would simply recommend you to remove the plugin and reinstall
   it. That should clear out all the big, unused files. However, it’s possible the
   issue will resurface.

 * Yes, I just updated it the normal way.
 * OK, I will just re-install it, thanks a lot!
