    Dear all.

    First of all, great Plugin.

I have tested the plugin with a small form, which worked great.
Now I have build a larger form with a few 100 fields. The preview works fine, also loading the form directly by url works fine.
BUT embedding the form only shows a blank page.

I have tried with possible options of cache and loading(also with options in Autoptimize). As the small form loads correctly, I don’t expect that any of the general settings is the problem.

    Any Info would be welcome.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Depending on server configuration Autoptimize can have issues if the HTML is very big and that seems to be the case here. What you can do is disable AO for that page specifically; edit the page and (assuming the “Enable configuration per post/ page?” option on AO’s main settings page is active) in the Autoptimize metabox simply disable the “Optimize this page?” option.

    hope this helps,
    frank (autoptimize developer)

    Hello @priessgmbh

Please, check the Autoptimize plugin settings.

You can check your web page by passing the ?ao_noptimize=1 parameter:

    https://kaizen.lovestoblog.com/2022/02/18/test-form/?ao_noptimize=1

It is an Autoptimize parameter to load the original page instead of the preprocessed page from Autoptimize.

    Best regards.

THank you all for your fast replies.
I have dug into the problem some more. If I disable AO css and leave js active, the page loads fine. So disabling AO for the whole page will be a solution, but possibly covers up some other problem.

Any new suggestions based on this new info?

well, you can always disable just JS CSS opt in the metabox for that page as well πŸ™‚

    Hello @priessgmbh

Our plugin includes an option in its settings page that could help you: “Tick the checkbox if there is an optimization plugin active on the website, and the forms are not visible.”

You can tick the checkbox and press the “Update” button.

    Best regards.

@codepeople That checkbox is already checked. (Was checked by default, probably because AO was installed before Calculated Fields Form).

    Hello @priessgmbh

I revisited your page and it loaded fine, including the form.

    Best regards.

I keep playing around with different settings. You probably hit at a time when AO css was off. I will post back my results.

So disabling AO for the whole page will be a solution, but possibly covers up some other problem.

to be clear; the root problem is the minifiers in Autoptimize breaking due to the amount of data to process. telling AO not to optimize that page or not to optimize CSS on that page does not cover up any other problem πŸ™‚

Thank you. I have disabled CSS optimizing for that page now.
