# Latest PHP version

 * I am trying to set up WordPress on Blue Host but I got this message below. What
   do I do?
 * Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require
   a PHP version “>= 7.2.5”. You are running 7.0.33.

 * You would need to update PHP to the latest version, if you don’t know how to 
   do it you can contact your webhosting support team for help.

 * WordPress itself works with PHP 5.6.20+, and I’m not sure what this “Composer”
   is: a plugin or the PHP dependency manager?
 * What to do?
 * 1) Check your host’s control panel to see if they have a newer version of PHP
   you can switch to. Some hosts provide multiple PHP versions. Note that the latest
   PHP version as of this writing is 7.4.
 * 2) If you find nothing, contact your host for help.
 * 3) If they cannot help you, and you really want to use this “Composer” (or whatever
   is bundling it), your only other option left is to move to a host that supports
   the version of PHP that your “Composer” requires.
