# Latest Update ERROR : SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token ‘*’

 * The last update broke the checkout process on my website giving SyntaxError: 
   JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token ‘*’
 * the error went away when i disabled the plugin
 * UPDATE : I replaced the latest version with the previous one 5.181 and the website
   runs again correctly
 * So the error is definitely in the version 5.182
 * Please fix this

 * We have resolved this issue. The current productive version – 5.182.2 – contains
   the necessary fixes.
