# Latest version update bug?

 * Are there any known issues with the latest update, 2.3.17? It always updates 
   automatically for me, but now my site gets stuck in maintenance mode and if I
   do the update manually, the output is “An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory:
   The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied.”
   I did
   check directory and file permissions.
