# LaTeX does not render

 * LaTeX does not render. I am using version 6.0.2 of wordpress. Not sure what the
   problem is.
 * I am using this simple test case in a shortcode block:
 *     ```
       [latexpage]
   
       \[  y = mx + \alpha \]
       ```
   
 * Also, is there a way to see any error messages that might be generating?

 * Figured out the problem: jetpack was somehow messing up the latex
