I fixed css issue you can download again or update.
For layout I tested 3 default theme and check view source code html mode don’t find any miss <div> all <div> start and end properly.
Can you enable it on your site then I can check it’s source code.

I check your html code i don’t get any miss “<div>” http://www.bynouk.nl/portfolio/ in this page widget ok. In my local pc I call short code and call widget but not break with WP default 3 theme. So better you use only short code in this page.

I manually added the </div> again for the bynouk.nl/test and then it will show up right. Furthermore: the css is still not fixed, I don’t see my font from Google Fonts. And I still can’t click on the portfolio items on the test page when the widget is activated. How is this possible?
New Version coming soon this week or next week all the current issue will be resolve there.
