 * Hi,
 * We would like to assign the appropriate automatic email response to anyone who
   submits their details in particular Salesforce W2L forms.
 * Our developer is trying to write a trigger that automatically detects the Lead
   Source and sends the appropriate response.
 * However, Salesforce is not picking up the WP “Lead Source” field at all set in
   the WP plugin.
 * Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have suggestions?
 * Cheers,
 * Alex

 * Sorry, I can’t duplicate this issue, so it must be something specific to your
   WP install or SalesForce account…?

 * Hi Nick,
 * Thanks for getting back to me. Basically we just want to know:
    How do we create
   multiple web-to-lead Record Types?
 * For example, when someone fills in the Finance form. We want to know that lead
   is a Finance Lead.
 * Cheers,
 * Alex

 * _How do we create multiple web-to-lead Record Types?_
 * The plugin creates one lead per form.
 * If you enter the “Finance” in the lead source field at the bottom of the form
   configuration page (the Form Settings metabox) it should get passed along.
 * Note: you do not create a **field** for lead source, it’s baked in to each form.
   You must use the built in field for the value to be passed successfully — i.e.
   you can’t have the user choose a ‘lead source’.
 * You can use a custom field for that, but then your autoresponder would need
   to reference the custom field, not the lead source.
 * If you want to use the “recordType” field, see this thread:
