LearnDash Badge Trigger Issue

    Hello,

    Just wanted to point out an issue with triggering course and minimum score LearnDash trigger when the last quiz in a course is a quiz that requires admin grading (essay questions). According to the log, the course and quiz triggers are completed by admin upon grading, not the user and therefore no badge is triggered.

    Would be great if that functionality could be added – a final essay is graded by admin which clears the course and triggers a course complete badge. Or, badge is set to say 100% must be achieved on quiz. If it’s an essay, upon submission, there are no points so the only triggers are complete quiz and fail quiz. If admin then grades and awards 100%, no minimum grade achievement is triggered so badge must be awarded manually.

    Hi @jguenther,

    We are going to release the new version of the add-on soon which will fix the mentioned issue so that Quiz badge (triggering Minimum Percentage Grade on a Quiz) will be awarded automatically when admin approve and award the points to the essay question. Thanks for pointing us to this issue.

    Just to inform: If any quiz has the passing percentage, let’s say 50% then Quiz and Course will be completed on the front end if user reached that threshold (50% – without adding essay question’s points). So the course badge and quiz badge will be awarded simultaneously.
