May we know what Feed Source URL you are using? As well as what add-ons if any?
The lightbox content would still be dependent on if the Feed source you are using allows their content to be shared in an iframe.
For example, reddit does not allow their content to be shared in an iframe, thus it doesn’t work in the lightbox pop-up. You may check your source if it can be placed within an iframe, and for more information on iframes, please see http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/iframe/
ok, i was using cnn, along with others. But when I use http i can see the lightbox content, except where iframe content is not allowed, but not when using ssl https, no content appears.

Regarding ‘http’ use, do you mean when entering the Feed source, or when you use ‘http’ for your site?
This may be a mixed content error.
