Hello,

I have RSS Aggregator installed a few months now and it is set to display in Lightbox.
Now Lightbox displays a blank screen, but it does work if you use New Window and the feed is up to date.

Is there a Fix for Lightbox to display properly?

Hi TH,

When the Lightbox displays a blank screen, can you please check your Chrome DevTool’s Console and see if you can find any errors there?

If you know what’s to fix from there, please go ahead.

If not, please send us a screenshot of the errors and send us the live URL to your site where we can see the issue directly.

Hello Eric

My site is HTTPS and I am not too familiar with the error codes
The only Error is copied and paste below.

jquery.js:3 Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.cdiwebsite.org/christian-news/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource ‘http://feeds.christianitytoday.com/~r/christianitytoday/hottopics/~3/_tc52azZr54/why-white-centered-discipleship-hurts-us-all.html’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Eric, We get the white screen LightBox on IE11 and also on Chrome. The second admin in Florida in has the same problem on his computer.
Hope you can find a solution?

Hi TH,

It would seem that your site (https://www.cdiwebsite.org/christian-news/) is already using an SSL (hence, your site HTTPS) while you’re trying to import from a source site that is still not using any SSL Certificates (hence, the HTTP).

For a quick fix, you can try to find and use the HTTPS version of the source site. Or, find an alternative Feed URL to use that is already in HTTPS.

But if you still need to use that particular Feed URL that is still in HTTP, you can try to use these following plugins:
