When the plugin is activated and I try to use some pages with Gutenberg, the lightbox doesn’t work. If the lightbox thing is a Gutenberg feature, it’s probably not going to work when Disable Gutenberg is enabled. Because Disable Gutenberg disables Gutenberg/block functionality. Maybe I have to explain it again. * Let’s say I have three pages on my blog 1,2,3 with Disable Gutenberg plugin activated but I decide to use Gutenberg on page 2 only. For every added image you can activate lightbox manually. So using latest WordPress and DG plugin, I enabled Gutenberg on one page only, disabled for the other two. Then added an image, enabled “Expand on click”, and visited the post on the front-end. Then clicking the image, it does the lightbox/popup thing. * One thing I noticed, is that the plugin setting, “Enable Frontend” must be enabled for the lightbox to display properly.
