 * Im encountering a problem with the lightbox: whenever logged in to WP dashboard,
   lightbox effects do not work for me, images thumbnails open to URL. After logging
   out site works perfect again. Is this a problem on my part or just a general
   bug?

 * [@z1gnol](https://wordpress.org/support/users/z1gnol/) – Can you elaborate on
   when/where the Lightbox Effect is not being triggered?

 * Like I said before, as soon as I’m logged in to the wordpress backend. When I
   open a new tab for the website for instance, it will also be logged in. Then
   the lightbox stops working until I log out. Simple as that.
 * My website has a simple setup, two static pages with a nextgen gallery shortcode([
   nggallery id=x]). Both galleries have not lightbox (or fancybox, whatever) when
   logged in. Here’s my site:
 * [website](http://raymonvanvught.com/)
 * I did a code check in my inspector while logged in and not logged in and discovered
   the thumbnails do not have javascript associated with them while logged in. They
   do when logged out. So one has to wonder why javascript dissappears when logging
   in.
 * It’s not a very pressing matter really, since public viewers will have no issue.

 * [@z1gnol](https://wordpress.org/support/users/z1gnol/) – The missing JavaScript
   is the obvious reason why you are not seeing the Lightbox Effects … the question
   is, what is causing it to not be rendered when you are logged in. I would suggest
   starting with checking for conflicts with other active plugins, and probably
   be best to also temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme
   while testing as well.
 * Thanks!
