Hello,
It looks like something is loading another version of fancybox into your website incorrectly. Could you send me a link to your webpage where this is happening so I can see which plugin is causing the issue?

Hello,
No problems, I’ve checked it out here and I can’t get it to open the image twice.
Could you see if it happens when you are logged in or logged out?
Could you also let me know what browser you are using please, we’ve checked chrome and firefox on linux here.

Oh, sorry, I downgraded it to 2.1.2. Will upgrade it in a minute…
Chrome, Safari, Firefox @ Mac and Windows – it appears in all these browsers, logged in or logged out.
The website is also using “IW Magnific Popup” plugin, for individual images in articles to open in the same lightbox that is also being used as a theme default lightbox for image galleries. And I believe this plugin conflicts the “Instagram for WordPress” plugin…

I can replicate it on the individual pages, seems like the other plugin is hooking into every image on the website to cause it to open in a lightbox.
I’m afraid the issue is with the other plugin, you may want to reach out to them to let them know that their plugin is breaking other plugins.

However I find it interesting no issue appears when using the 2.1.1. version of Instagram for WordPress?
I too am having the same problem as described before – lightbox was working but now is not – http://www.gregorymichael.tv
My Problem has been resolved – was a conflict with theme page transitions.
