Using the latest version of WPBDP and WP, already installed like 5 different light box plugins, including Light Box, Light Box Plus, Fancy Box, Thick Box. The only one that fairly worked was Fency Box, but it didn’t have the close button.

    Cache plugin disabled.

Which lightbox plugin should I use to integrate with WPBDP?

    Hi spikespiegel,

Sorry that you ran into trouble here.

First–when you tried the other plugins, did you also try a conflict test to see if the plugin works, but conflicts with something else? That’s a possibility here and one worth exploring.

Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

We’ve not specifically tested against all possible lightbox plugins out there–I know Fancy Box used to work at one time, but things change and they may have an issue now. But run that test above and let’s start with that. Report back when you finish.

It will be a mess if I disable all my plugins. I’ve got too many.
Recommend me a few lightbox plugins, I’ll test them first and see if I find a conflict. I believe that way is better.

    Hi spikespiegel,

I understand that it can be a little challenging, but unfortunately, there’s no other way to test it. Suppose the conflict was a plugin completely unrelated to BD and lightboxes. If I suggest Lightbox A, Lightbox B or Lightbox C (and they all conflict), then it doesn’t solve the issue.

The best way is a conflict test where just BD and the lightbox you want to test are running on a default theme.

If you can’t run that on your production site (which I understand!), then I would suggest a staging site that is a duplicate of your production one to test with. That’s always a great way to check it.
