 * Hi, there are too many social media plugins that work well.
 * I have only tested a few. Your best bet is to search here for all the social 
   media plugins. Test each one and pick the one that best suits your need.

 * I tried installing some social media plugins, but they showing on the actual 
   page. what I need is to place the actual like button on the lightbox image. Would
   that be possible using a plugin or I have to do it manually?

 * Even though the above tutorial is for a youtube video the same steps applies 
   for any shortcode. Simply install a social media plugin that allows you to use
   shortcodes and follow the instructions above.
