• I created a calendar list and depending on the number of events on a given span, that list can get really long and ruin the user experience as the website will become long. Is there a way to limit the total # of events (not the daily total) or frame the content of the calendar to a maximum height and allow users to scroll inside the frame instead so that the website as a whole doesn’t physically change in size depending on the number of events in a given span?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • did you check the appearance section of the calendar? The fourth option down is limit visible events to a set number. Does this help?

I did check and it doesn’t work because the feature explicitly says “Limit the # of initial visible events ON EACH DAY to a set maximum.” So it is a daily limit and doesn’t limit the total # of events.
Even the window format for the calendar doesn’t work. I’ve gone through this forum and notice that the developer doesn’t answer questions posted in this forum nearly enough. I’m just about ready to drop them as they seem to be non-responsive nor care about making their product competitive. And yes I do pay for products I like and use.
Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I noticed this too. I just purchased the pro version and after a few days it stopped showing any events. I’ve had a number of back and forth online with the dev team with no help. I think I’m going to request a refund and go to the other plugin I use, Modern Events, the free version works perfectly for us. Only issue is I need to manually import the details but that’s a simple click every morning.

Thanks for the tip. I am looking for a more automated version similar to this current plugin but just limit the events so that my website doesn’t look distorted. Will keep you posted if I do find one.

Found an alternate plugin (ICS Calendar) that allowed me to limit the event so as to keep the website clean and had similar functionality. You can find them at https://icscalendar.com/
