Limit verification attempts

Hello,

Is there a way i can limit a users attempts to pass the age verification?
I would like it so the user, if underage, cannot attempt to log in again for x amount of time. Be it by hiding in the inputs and setting a cookie to keep this hidden for a state period of time.
