 * In an older version if you made the coupon link to another website in the post
   it was inserted in it would open that website. Now if you click the coupon even
   with a defined URL it still only opens the coupon, for example, mydomain.com/
   cctor_coupon/nameofcouponcreated and I want to to go to somedomain.com/therightplace.
   Any idea where I can change this in the code?
 * I am assuming `$permalink = get_permalink( $couponid );` is the place but I am
   not sure if it is and if it is I am not sure what to put in there to use a normal
   href tag.

 * Yes, if there is an image the plugin now makes that a link to the print view.
 * If you want to remove that go into the lib directory and open cc_shortcodes.php
 * On line 57 remove the a tag from around the image and that should do it.
