 * Basically replace the http:// with the service/application you’re making the 
   call to.

 * Yes of course, but wordpress “cut” that kind of links, if there is no http://
 * Try to add link: spotify:user:delux:playlist:0hY1D6RPRxIPn0hu557aNE and you can
   see that it changes to: 0hY1D6RPRxIPn0hu557aNE
