# Link to https redirects to http.

 * Hello,
 * I have several links to different sites on the web.
 * All are https.
    But the last one I added is redirecting to http.
 * Why does this happen, please?

   to `http` while being set to `https`.

 * that’s happening on the remote site — it has nothing to do with your WP site.

 * OK. And why does the site do that? I’ve never set up `https` so I don’t know 
   how it works. When it was not activated, it was redirected to `https`, but it
   worked badly and it was necessary to switch to `http`.

 * I’ve got it, the problem is in WordPress.
 * The thing is, it’s not enough to just activate HTTPS. You need to set up WordPress.
 * Specifically, Settings -> General and there change the WordPress Address and 
   Side Address to HTTPS.
 * Now it works flawlessly.
