• Hi–I’ll be blunt here: I’m a CSS/HTML newbie…thanks for your patience in advance

Having a tough time getting pages to scroll. I’ve followed the directions thus far:

    1. Went to Appearance>Menus and typed in the URL in the Links label, an example being scottwgilmourdesign.com/?p=154
Does this look correct? Or do I replace ?p=154 with something else (like #section-I’d)?
    2. In Link Relationship (XFN) I type in m_PageScroll2id for each one.
    3. I’ve also enabled Scroll to location hash

After all this I don’t have anything scrolling when I click a link (the WP theme is Nonus, also, in case that helps). If anyone can walk me through this I’d be grateful.

    Please help. Thanks so much

You need to add the id hash (#section-id) to scottwgilmourdesign.com/?p=154.

Normally, you’d want to first change your permalinks structure in wp settings (see “Choosing your permalink structure” in the link). Then you could have links like http://example.com/2012/post-name/ and you could insert in URL: http://example.com/2012/post-name/#section-id.

All the above assumes that you have an element in your content with id section-id
