 * Hi,
 * I’m having this linking problem and I can use some help.
    My website is [http://www.digitale-media.be](http://www.digitale-media.be)
 * Under each post title (like under “BBDO organiseert BBDO Connect” – [http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/](http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/)),
   I would like to post a small phrase saying:
 * “Een vacature plaatsen tegen een voordelige prijs? Meer info.”
 * The “Meer info.” part has to link to [http://www.digitale-media.be/vacature-plaatsen/](http://www.digitale-media.be/vacature-plaatsen/).
 * So I added the following code to single.php:
 * `<small>Een vacature plaatsen tegen een voordelige prijs? <a href="//www.digitale-
   media.be/vacature-plaatsen/">Meer info.</a></small>`
 * _[Moderator Note: Please post code or markup snippets between backticks or use
   the code button. As it stands, your code may now have been permanently damaged/
   corrupted by the forum’s parser.]_
 * However, for some reason the “Meer info” part links to “[http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/%EF%BF%BDhttp://www.digitale-media.be/vacature-plaatsen/%EF%BF%BD&#8221](http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/%EF%BF%BDhttp://www.digitale-media.be/vacature-plaatsen/%EF%BF%BD&#8221);
 * So it adds “[http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/%EF%BF%BD&#8221](http://www.digitale-media.be/headlines/bbdo-organiseert-bbdo-connect/%EF%BF%BD&#8221);
   in the beginning and “%EF%BF%BD” at the end.
 * How can this be fixed? Am I doing something wrong?
 * Thank you for your help.

 * Can you replicate the problem using the Twenty Eleven theme with **all** plugins
   deactivated?

 * I’ll try that.
 * Currently, I have this code:
 *     ```
       <div class="post-heading">
       <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
       <small>Een vacature plaatsen tegen een voordelige prijs? <a href=”http://www.digitale-media.be/vacature-plaatsen/”>Meer info.</a></small>
       <br><span class="heading-author"><?php the_author(); ?></span>
       <span class="heading-date"><?php the_date(); ?></span>
       <div class="fb-like" data-send="true" data-layout="button_count" data-width="450" data-show-faces="false" data-action="recommend"></div>
       </div>
       ```
 * I can’t see anything obviously wrong with that posted code.
 * So it has probably something to do with the plugins?
 * I have the following plugins active: Google Analytics for WordPress, Facebook
   Comments, Gravity Forms, MailChimp, Popular Widget, Post-Plugin Library, Random
   Posts, SEO Auto Links & Related Posts, WordPress.com Popular Posts, WordPress.
   com Stats, WordPress Importer, WordPress SEO, WP Missed Schedule, WP Most Popular,
   WP Widget Cache.
 * Try deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).
 * Ok, thanks for the tip. I’ll give it a try and let you know the outcome.
 * I’ve also posted my question on the support forum of themeforest.com. They made
   the Avenue theme.
 * Hi Jokes1979, you should try using the contact form on the author’s profile page
   for support with the theme they created. In the case of Avenue, the author’s
   profile page is here: [http://themeforest.net/user/ThemeSector](http://themeforest.net/user/ThemeSector)
 * Good luck!
