Linking Problem
-
Hi,
there is a problem, when i linked my website to pinterest (Screenshot 1) and pressed the button to be redirected back to the website (Screenshot 2) an unspecified error message appears. When I start the shortcut again in the plugin, it doesn’t go any further. (screenshot 3)
What can I do?
Best regards,

Hi Maya,
Hope you are doing great today!
I understand your concern and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by this situation.I’m not seeing the images you’ve shared, please use any file sharing site like WeTransfer or Imgbb
Anyway as first attempt lets try to fix it by starting the process from scratch.
Not sure if all the steps below will apply, it depends on how the onboarding process ended.1. Go to Settings tab on “Marketing > Pinterest”
2. Disable “Enable product sync”
3. Enable “Erase Plugin Data” and Save
4. Go to Connection tab on ”Marketing > Pinterest”
5. Disconnect your account by clicking on “Disconnect”
6. Deactivate and uninstall “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
7. Install again “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
8. Restart the Pinterest onboardingHope this helps, please let us know the result.
Best
DiegoHello Diego,
Thank you for your answer! The error is displayed during the onboarding process, so I can’t even see the plugin settings.
This is when the error occurs:
1. “You just authenticated Pinterest! We’d like to redirect you to:…”
2. Error-Message: “There was a critical error on your website.”
Error:”A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations.”Could it be that another plugin is preventing the link?
I have several security plugins installed, e.g. ‘All In One WP Security’.Best
MajaHi Maja,
Hope you are doing well!Try checking your security plugins. These plugins can block several IP addresses if they think those addresses are malicious.
You can also try to disable other plugins to check if this is not caused by any compatibility issue.
In the following link conflict test there are instructions on how to perform this test, always do this on a Staging site, never on live.Hope this helps, please let us know if it works.
Best,

ChristianHi !
I have the exact same bug.
During the onboarding process when this message appearYou just authenticated Pinterest!
We’d like to redirect you to:

When I click on the the button “that’s my site – redirect me” it show me a critical error. I’ve tried to debug by disabling all my plugins and theme but it’s still not working …
