 * Hi
 * This plugin is doing all the things I want but I can’t use it because it’s rendering
   the code like this
 *     ```
       <a href="\"http://clickwp.com/\"">Click WP
       </a>WordPress managed hosting on a provider like <a href="\"http://wpengine.com/\"">WP Engine
       ```
 * I wonder if there’s something amiss? I’m in the middle of redoing the whole documentation
   list becuase the links aren’t working due to the issue above, but I’d prefer
   to keep using your plugin rather than go through it all over again with someone
   else’s.
 * Hi Dee Teal,
 * Happy to see that the plugin suit your needs 🙂
 * If you want to insert your custom code, you have to use the ‘text’ tab of the
   editor.
    Then you can switch back to the visual tab to view your changes properly.
   This is the same behaviour as the main WordPress editor.
 * If you are still getting this issue after using the process above, please let
   me know !
    It’ll mean that this is a code issue, so, if in that case, you could
   send me as much details as possible about the steps you are going through to
   add items, it would be lovely !
 * Thank you for your feedback 🙂
    Mathieu.
 * Thanks Matthiew, actually that’s exactly what Im’ doing and even if I go from
   a text editor with all the correct marks and back it still performs this way
 * In fact, the code above was created by selecting the text and adding a link in
   the way one usually would. And still it’s throwing these errors.
 *     ```
       <a title="\&quot;\\&quot;ClickWP\\&quot;\&quot;" href="\&quot;\\&quot;http://clickwp.com/wordpress-support/\\&quot;\&quot;">Click WP</a> - WordPress Tech Support
       WordPress managed hosting on a provider like <a title="\&quot;\\&quot;WP\\&quot;\&quot;" href="\&quot;\\&quot;http://wpengine.com/\\&quot;\&quot;">WPEngine
       ```

 * I’ve even had it doing the above.
 * I believe I’m using the plugin the way I’d expect to, I’m completely comfortable
   writing all this code out by hand as well, but still I can’t get it to behave
   properly.

 * Ok,
    I’ll do some tests tomorrow and provide a fix as soon as possible 😉
 * I’ll assume that you are using the ‘note’ type.
    Your website is on a basic ubuntu
   server. You are using utf-8 as main charset. Your WordPress installation is up
   to date.
 * Please let me know if what I’ve described above doesn’t reflect your environment.
 * Thank you,
    Mathieu.

 * WordPress Version 3.9.1
    MySQL Version 5.5.37 PHP Version 5.4.29 Engine: InnoDB
   Collation: utf8_general_ci Server – Linux (but Im’ unsure of the finer details)

 * Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to reproduce the issue.
 * Actually I think it might be an issue with your WordPress Installation.
    For
   the formatting work on the editor, 99% of the work is done by tinymce/wordpress.
   Simple Documentation is just getting/setting the text into it actually.
 * It might be a conflict with another plugin as well. Are you using any plugins
   that may have effects on the editor ?
    Is this behaviour reproduced over multiple
   WordPress installation?
 * I would recommend you to deactivate each plugin and see if there is any difference.

   If you spot a specific plugin which interfere with Simple Documentation, I’ll
   be able to resolve the conflict.
 * Are you using the lastest version of Simple Documentation which is 1.2.1 ?
 * Thanks,
    Mathieu.
