Links broken in widget | ww.wp.xz.cn

After updating to the most recent version of the plugin, links in our post titles are broken.

We occasionally put an href directly in a post title. This previously created a direct link to the outside page. After the update the html tags are showing directly in the widget and are not working as active links.

Was there a change to use http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/wp_trim_words… is this causing the problem?

Is there a workaround? Link to our site is elearning.champlain.edu

It looks like the link is working with post title? Where is the issue you talking about? I’m sorry I’m not sure with the issue.

Hi @satrya. Thank you for trying to help. We changed the post titles so they wouldn’t look broken, but I have changed them back to the way they were displaying when we discovered they had been broken by the update. If you look again at elearning.champlain.edu you will see the href code in the titles.

Hmm.. I don’t know which version you used before, but you basically can’t put a html tag in the title. This is WordPress core function and I can’t do anything with it.
